Get the Look | New Bangles and How to Stack Them

Shown here from the wrist: the Low Cresta Bangle in brass, the Double Cresta in ebony, the Cresta Bangle in brass, and the Concave Bangle in ebony.

Taking inspiration from the glamorous arm stacks of rebel writer and activist Nancy Cunard, our new chunky carved wooden bangles really make a statement. Surprisingly lightweight, the wood’s rich warmth feels organic and sleek, especially paired against other metals like brass, sterling silver or gold. Worn in tall dramatic stacks or simply all on their own, the bangles look striking and dimensional. We like layering different combinations of width and scale for added texture and interest, alternating metal and wood. It's also nice to play with different shapes and weights for a greater sense of movement. The new Cresta Bangle, with its sculptural domed top, works particularly well here.

Each bangle is carved from ebony or honey brown Asna wood, and comes in a range of widths and shapes. When it comes to layering, you really can’t go wrong. Try using multiples of the same bangle or mix it up for a completely different look. We especially like the look of metal bangles mixed in.

For strong and polished look, keep everything simple by wearing just one or two. Simple, delicate and bold pieces alike stand out against the wood’s smooth, softly polished finish.
