Sustainability

All Kendall Conrad products are 100% made in Los Angeles, CA. in small batches for zero waste. Small batch jewelry is a meaningful approach to limiting excess waste products in the fashion industry. By working with a limited quantity, and then working to reproduce pieces on a mostly made-to-order basis, Kendall Conrad has no excess products at the end of the season, which means that we are limiting our waste and minimizing our impact on the environment.

JEWELRY

Doing what we can to maintain sustainability is a priority at Kendall Conrad, which is why our jewelry is made using recycled brass (copper and zinc), sterling silver, and gold. These recycled materials, which are created by melting down the original product, allow us to repurpose the materials in their purest forms, and drastically limit the amount of solid waste produced from mining minerals like these. Recycled gold and silver reduce hazardous mining effects that cause environmental damage, which gives our customers the chance to purchase ethical and conflict-free jewelry.

Absolutely no nickel is used. We completely avoid using nickel in our products. Nickel is toxic and can create an allergic reaction. Instead, we source high-quality recycled brass, sterling silver, and gold, which are hypoallergenic, easy to care for, and will look beautiful for years to come.

Ethical jewelry is not only better for the environment, but it’s better for you too. Using beautiful and recycled brass, sterling silver, and gold, you can wear your jewelry with pride. Shop Kendall Conrad for timeless, sustainably made jewelry from Los Angeles CA.

LEATHER GOODS

Kendall Conrad leather goods are made from sustainable Italian leather that is the first leather in the world to be a USDA certified bio-based product. Bio-based products are derived from renewable materials and provide an alternative to conventional petroleum-derived products. Leather is one of the most renewable products. As certified by the USDA, there is no synthetic substitute that can be compared to leather in terms of renewability. The use of bio-based products increases the use of renewable agricultural resources and contributes to reducing adverse environmental and health impacts. Our leather is GOLD RATED by the Leather Working Group, certified by BLUE ANGEL, LEATHER NATURALLY, and GREEN L.I.F.E.
